SHAKEN NOT STIRRED! Dodge Unveils 2023 Challenger R/T Scat Pack “Shakedown” Limited Editions!
In Both Standard & Widebody Configurations...
Dodge has officially unveiled the first of the brand’s “Last Call” lineup of seven 2023 special edition “buzz” models. The special edition models will celebrate the last year of the current L-series Dodge Challenger (LA) and Charger (LD), by paying tribute to special models before them.
The cars were presented to members of the press and invited guests, on the back of a Reliable Carriers car hauler outside the event. Each car was covered with a unique car cover, with a theme hinting at the special edition, engine designation, and the number of units to be produced.
The 2023 Dodge Challenger Shakedown pays tribute to the original 1971 Dodge Challenger Shakedown Concept, which shook up the display floor when unveiled at the 2016 Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) Show in Las Vegas.
The special-edition 2023 Dodge Challenger Shakedown follows the original’s theme of a black-and-red interior and exterior that fuses a modern and vintage feel.
The Dodge Challenger Shakedown will be truly unique: only 1,000 special-edition models are planned for production: 500 Dodge Challenger Shakedown R/T Scat Pack (in Destroyer Grey) and 500 Challenger Shakedown R/T Scat Pack Widebody (in Pitch Black) vehicles will be produced.
Special-edition Dodge Challenger Shakedown models will come loaded with content from the Plus Group, Technology Group, Navigation, Carbon/Suede, and Dynamics Package (for Challenger R/T Scat Pack).
Unique features of the Dodge Challenger Shakedown special-edition model include:
- Mopar Cold-Air Shaker Hood
- Mopar Shaker Intake
- “Shaker” Underhood Decal
- Red “392” Fender Graphic
- “Shakedown” Spoiler Graphic
