Ready To Tackle The Wild – 2021 Jeep® Gladiator Rubicon AEV JT370:
The Ultimate Base Package To Start Building Your Overlanding Vehicle...
American Expedition Vehicles (AEV) is known as a leader in the off-road industry. Over the past two decades, the Michigan company has worked alongside companies like Chrysler and General Motors to manufacturer some incredible off-road and Overlanding machines.
One of the company’s most popular vehicles was a pickup version of the Wrangler TJ and JK, known as the Brute. But since the Jeep® mass produces its own variant of the Wrangler pickup with its Gladiator, AEV is now making the Gladiator even more capable than Jeep’s “Trail Rated” offerings with two off-road adventure packages – the JT350 and JT370. The two packages are what AEV says “elevates” the Gladiator as both an off-road adventure vehicle and a daily driver.
Today, we are going to look at the more well-equipped JT370 package. The AEV JT370 package comes with the following as standard equipment…
- AEV JL Sport Front Bumper
- AEV Non-Winch Cover Plate
- AEV Front Skid Plate
- AEV 7000 Series LED Off-Road Lights
- AEV Light Cover Kit
- AEV 2.5-Inch DualSport RT Suspension System
- AEV Front Geometry Correction Brackets
- AEV ProCal SNAP Module
- AEV Alloy Wheels
- 37-Inch BFGoodrich All-Terrain or Mud-Terrain Tires
- Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) Sensors
- AEV 4.56 Axle Ratio Upgrade
- AEV Jack Base
- AEV Branding Package
- AEV Instrument Panel Cluster
- AEV Logo Headrests
- AEV Vehicle Build Plaque
Starting with AEV’s stamped steel front bumper, the heavy-duty bumper offers Gladiator superior front-end protection, two chassis-mounted recovery points, and an integrated lower skid plate. For those who are traveling into the wilderness, there is an optional Warn Zeon 10-S Winch and AEV Hawse Fairlead to help get through the toughest situations or to help pull your buddy out.
The JT370’s 2.5-inch DualSport RT Suspension System provides the optimal balance of load-carrying capacity and ride quality that customers have come to expect from AEV. The 2.5-inch DualSport RT Suspension System is AEV’s flagship suspension system for customers looking for the ultimate on/off-road suspension and includes AEV’s frequency-tuned, triple-rate coil springs matched with a set of custom-tuned Bilstein shock absorbers and steering damper.
Every AEV JT370 Gladiator is available with either a Vertical or Horizontal Bed-Mounted AEV Spare Tire Carrier to securely hold your full-size 37-inch spare tire securely in place while you are bouncing around on the trail.
Visibility is essential for finding your way in the dark but also for keeping an eye out for wildlife or road hazards in remote areas. AEV’s 7-inch LED Off-Road Lights were designed for all-terrain travel and provide an exceptional balance of clarity and distance for improved driver safety and peace of mind when traveling at night.
Every vehicle built is built at AEV’s Wixom, Michigan headquarters and includes a serial-numbered VIN plate, exclusive AEV exterior emblems, windshield banner, embroidered headrests, and a custom gauge cluster overlay.
The JT370 package starts at $12,000 USD. For those looking for more customization, the sky is the limit. AEV offers a number of custom paints, painted I/P, and painted headliner options. There are also several wheels, leather interior, and performance parts to choose from, that can be added to your build. You can even equip your JT370 with a set of custom AEV/Bilstein 8100 series shocks for the ultimate ride off-road.
AEV has created a Build & Price configurator to design your own JT370 package, which you can see on www.aev-conversions.com. If you are not interested in building your own package, there is also a Dealer Inventory section that allows you to search for a pre-made JT350 or JT370 already at a certified AEV dealer.
The JT370 package is a great package for those who are looking to make their Gladiator into a rugged Overlanding vehicle. AEV has proven it has built proven equipment for Jeep products, that can take you anywhere you want to go and beyond.
