The Ram Truck brand will be auctioning off its Ram 1500 TRX Launch Edition VIN #001, this Friday at the Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale Auction. The entire sale price benefitting the United Way for Southeastern Michigan’s 2-1-1 helpline to provide services to veterans and their families.
The 2021 Ram 1500 TRX Launch Edition is a limited production run of 702 units for the United States (100 for Canada), commemorating the quickest, fastest, and most powerful truck ever. The United States offering of the Launch Edition came at the official unveiling of the truck and only took less than three hours to have all of them spoken for, except this one.

The Launch Edition package added an additional $12,150 USD to the price of the TRX. Additionally, Ram 1500 TRX VIN #001 includes other optional equipment, such as RamBar by Mopar, rock rails by Mopar, bed-mounted tire carrier by Mopar, Trailer Tow Group, and Trailer Reverse Steering Control.
The 2021 Ram 1500 TRX Launch Edition VIN #001 auction vehicle is currently on display at the Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale auction till Saturday, March 27th. The truck will come with a unique Authentication Kit that includes a presentation box with a bound book custom-developed by the Ram Brand team that highlights the vehicle’s design development, exclusive photos and video, a speed-form model, and a Ram Truck cover developed by the vehicle’s design team.
