I have been having a lot of fun with our 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk since purchasing it in early September. I took it to our local drag strip about a week after purchase, then drove it across Canada to compete in our friend Dave Hayes’ SRT Demon event. While a ton of fun, the conditions weren’t ideal for running quick times due to high temperatures and a DA (Density Altitude) hovering around 3600 feet.
Well, not long after returning from my trip out to Ontario, my local drag strip had their last event of the season, and conditions were finally looking good. While still struggling with traction a bit, I was able to run the best times yet in our Trackhawk and was very impressed with how it performed. You’ll have to watch the video above to see how I did, but we also have a lot of modifications planned for this winter and are looking to improve our times next year greatly.
