Ram Named #1 in J.D. Power 2024 Initial Quality Study

Ram Tops Industry with Unmatched Quality and Customer Satisfaction...

Ram has again set the benchmark in the automotive industry by securing the top spot in the J.D. Power 2024 U.S. Initial Quality StudySM (IQS). This remarkable achievement marks Ram as the only truck-exclusive brand to lead this prestigious study, reinforcing its position as a quality and customer satisfaction leader.

Ram has ranked among the top three brands in the industry for the fourth time in five years, with this year being its second time as the overall number one. The Ram 1500 stood out, claiming the title of the best Full-size Light-Duty Pickup for the second consecutive year. The Ram 2500/3500 also earned a commendable third place among Heavy-Duty Pickups.

“This recognition is particularly uplifting because our customers are extremely demanding,” said Ram CEO Christine Feuell. “Satisfying them to the point where we rise above every other brand in the industry is a testament to the boundless creativity of our designers and engineers and the unwavering dedication of our assemblers and dealers.”

Adding to Stellantis’ achievements, the Alfa Romeo Stelvio secured second place among Compact Premium SUVs, marking its second consecutive year in the segment’s top two. This consistent performance highlights the brand’s commitment to quality and excellence.

The significance of these results is heightened by introducing new metrics in this year’s study, which provided a more comprehensive capture of the customer’s voice. “Stellantis brands have enjoyed top IQS rankings for several years,” noted Bill Kendell, Senior Vice President-North America Customer Experience at Stellantis. “But to achieve what Ram has achieved in this year’s study, with its broader scope, is a clear demonstration that our team can and will deliver on our organization’s mission statement: Every Customer Counts, Every Journey Matters.”

Kendell further emphasized the importance of this achievement, stating, “For us, this new study marks a new beginning. We will use our past successes to build a better future for our customers.”
