Ram Looks To Actor Glen Powell, As The Next Voice Of Ram
RHO-Launch Kicks Off All-New Marketing Campaign For The Ram Brand...
Did you miss the reveal of the new 2025 Ram 1500 RHO and Ram Rebel X this morning? No problem; we have you covered. Both new off-road models expand the family of Ram’s portfolio of pickups for the new model year, joining the iconic Ram 2500 Power Wagon, the awesome Ram 2500 Rebel, and the sporty and off-road capable Ram 1500 Warlock.
This morning, Ram launched a new marketing campaign featuring Hollywood actor Glen Powell (“Top Gun: Maverick,” “Anyone But You”) to introduce the new models and kick off a new chapter in the Ram Truck lineup. Powell isn’t going to provide the new ‘voice’ for the Ram brand; he relies on Ram trucks in his next big film, “Twisters,” which drops this summer. In the film, his character, Tyler Owens, drives a modified fourth-generation Ram 3500 1-ton and a 2023 Ram 1500 TRX.
Three world-famous stunt drivers, Collete Davis, Tanner Foust, and Rhys Millen, each behind the wheel of their own Ram off-roader, joined him in revealing the new RHO and Rebel X. Ram/Dodge CEO Tim Kuniskis was also part of the mini marketing film, this time without CGI help from the much-talked-about Dodge Charger Daytona reveal.
The move for a new marketing campaign comes as Ram has faced a sales drought leading up to the second quarter of 2024. Ram hopes that the new marketing campaign will help spark more traffic into its dealers as the summer months approach.
But it’s not just the new RHO we’ll see Powell introduce. New commercials featuring the entire 2025 Ram 1500 have already hit social media and television, with him as the new spokesman of the Ram brand.
Ram and the Detroit-based Doner advertising agency did the new marketing campaign.
