Ram Trucks has continued its impressive growth trajectory in the Brazilian automotive market, particularly in the premium segment, during the first half of 2024. The brand’s strategic initiatives have yielded substantial results, solidifying its position as a frontrunner in the competitive landscape.
Remarkable Sales Performance –
In the first six months of 2024, Ram Trucks achieved remarkable sales figures, selling a total of 14,717 vehicles. This represents a significant increase of 218% compared to the same period in 2023, showcasing the brand’s growing popularity among Brazilian consumers. Ram Trucks now commands a notable 7% share in the pickup market and has secured 1.4% of the total vehicle market.
June Highlights –
June proved to be a standout month for Ram Trucks, with sales reaching new heights. The brand sold 2,836 pickup trucks during the month, marking a staggering growth of 358% compared to June of the previous year. This achievement translated to a 1.4% share of the total Brazilian market and an impressive 8.1% share in the pickup truck segment.
Rampage Leading the Charge –
Central to Ram Trucks’ success has been the Rampage model, which has consistently driven sales and set new records since its introduction. Over the past six months, Ram has sold a remarkable 113,000 units of the Rampage pickup, with June alone accounting for 1,968 units. This model has not only become the best-seller for Ram Trucks but has also propelled the brand to exceed its total vehicle sales from the entire year of 2022, prior to Rampage’s launch.
Market Expansion and Dealer Network –
Ram Trucks’ expansion in Brazil has been bolstered by the introduction of Rampage just over a year ago. The pickup’s arrival marked a pivotal moment for the brand, significantly enhancing its market presence and consumer appeal. Currently, Ram operates an extensive network of 126 dealerships across Brazil, ensuring widespread accessibility and service coverage for customers nationwide.
