Ram Announces HELLCAT Final Edition For 2024 Ram 1500 TRX

Marks Extinction For The Supercharged HELLCAT-Powered Ram...

Regrettably, the day that many anticipated has arrived. Stellantis has unveiled plans to phase out the iconic HEMI® engine lineup in favor of environmentally conscious twin-turbocharged inline-six engines. In this transition, the Ram brand has announced the bittersweet news that the era of the HEMI-powered Ram TRX is drawing to a close.

After the 2024 model year, the curtain will fall on the HEMI HELLCAT engine, marking the end of an era for the renowned Ram TRX. Since its remarkable debut in 2020, the TRX has stood as a pinnacle in the off-road and performance truck segments. Ram has unveiled plans to craft a limited “Final Edition” set to debut in the third quarter of this year to commemorate its departure.

Tim Kuniskis, Ram’s CEO, remarked, “The introduction of the Ram 1500 TRX marked a pivotal shift in the realm of off-road performance trucks, leaving an enduring legacy that will reverberate for years to come. While this chapter of Ram’s high-performance trucks is drawing to a close, it’s far from the end of the TRX story. While more details will follow in due course, we’re thrilled to provide our devoted performance enthusiasts with the exceptional TRX 6.2L Supercharged V8 – Final Edition.”
