The 2022 Ram 2500 Heavy Duty has been named a winner in the inaugural 2022 Canadian Black Book (CBB) “Best Residual Value Award” for the “Full-Size Pickup” category. The Ram 2500 has been the no-compromise benchmark for durability, extreme performance, comfort, luxury materials, innovation, and technology extending well past any competitive offerings.

The 2022 Best Residual Value Awards recognize vehicles that are expected to hold the highest value of their original Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) 48 months after the original date of purchase. These awards were presented in 21 categories of cars, trucks, SUVs, and EVs.

While the Ram 2500 was the only Stellantis vehicle to win a category, the automaker did have 5 honorable mentions.

Standout features and packages for the 2022 model year include the all-new Uconnect 5 infotainment system, the return of the Big Horn Silver Edition, and an enhanced “Tow Mode” feature with an available digital rearview mirror, allowing the driver to see behind their trailer with the optional remote camera.

To qualify for a Residual Value Award, the vehicle must be on sale by January 1st and included in the January /February Canadian Black Book Residual Value Guide. Value forecasts are based on 48 months of age with an annual average of 24,000 kilometers (or about 15,000 miles) driven.
