Ralph Gilles’ 2018 Dodge Challenger SRT Demon, Is For Sale:

The Car Is The Fourth Demon To Come Off The Assembly Line...

There is no doubt that the 840 horsepower drag racing-oriented 2018 Dodge Challenger SRT Demon, will go down as one of the greatest muscle cars of all time. The Dodge//SRT brand only built 3,312 of the quarter-mile monsters for both the United States and Canada. While some of the cars have headed to auction houses recently, one particular model that was recently placed up for sale has caught our eye.

The fourth production SRT Demon formerly owned by diehard car enthusiast and Head of FCA Design, Ralph Gilles, is currently up for sale. Platinum Motorcars in Birmingham, Michigan has the Octane Red Challenger up for sale for the price of $139,995 USD (that before taxes, license, and doc fees). The car currently only has 1,032 miles on the odometer and knowing Ralph, has been meticulously cared for.

So just how rare is Ralph’s Demon? The car is 1 out of 161 of the Octane Red Demons built for the U.S., while 13 of them were built for Canada. Only 205 of the Demons came with cloth seats and this particular one is one of those cars. The car also features the rear seat delete option, which just over 16% of the 2018 Dodge Challenger SRT Demons featured.

Our Co-Editor, Jared Balfour spent some time earlier this summer behind the wheel of our friend Dave Hayes’ SRT Demon at the track and the car is just a force to be reckoned with on the drag strip. The SRT Demon is one of the most consistent cars you will find on the track and it showed us just how special of a car the Demon truly is.

So why is Ralph, getting rid of his Demon? He gave us a little hint on his Instagram recently…

For someone though, not only will the car have a lot of Mopar history being owned by the Mopar superstar design, by being one of the first models off the assembly line is sure to help too.
