QUICK LOOK: We Look At The 2021 Ram 1500 Technology Group:
Here Is What New For 2021...
The RAM brand has brought even more technology to its already technologically advanced Ram 1500 lineup for the 2021 model year. RAM is determined to lead the way with more user-friendly technology to make its owners’ daily routines even easier. The new optional Technology Group offers the addition of an all-new Head-Up Display (HUD), LED Center High-Mounted Stop Lamp, and Rear-View Auto-Dimming Digital Display Mirror.
The new HUD display in the 2021 Ram 1500 is the first application in an FCA vehicle. It features a full-color unit that can show up to five different content areas at once and can be customized through the available 12-inch Uconnect touchscreen. The HUD unit can show areas of interest that include Lane Departure, Lane Keep Assist, adaptive cruise control, turn-by-turn navigation, current speed, current gear, and speed limit.
The new digital rearview mirror features a 9.2-inch wide LCD monitor and displays video in real-time from a rear-facing camera. When it is powered on, it gives the driver a wider view from behind the vehicle than a conventional mirror. The mirror can be turned off to revert back to a traditional reflective mirror.
