Quadrifoglio Models Named A Car And Driver Editors’ Choice:

For the second straight year, the editors of Car and Driver magazine have named the Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio and Stelvio Quadrifoglio to its Editor’s Choice list. The annual list recognizes the best vehicles according to the Car and Driver staff during that model year’s market. 

“In 2018, the editors here at Car and Driver tested almost 500 cars. We counted cupholders, rated seat comfort, loaded them with luggage to measure their cargo room, and took them to our test track to see how well they accelerated, braked and turned,” said Kirk Seaman, Executive Editor at Car and Driver. “From this wide range of cars, we have selected our 2019 Editors’ Choice winners. In our collective opinion, these are the best cars for 2019, the ones we would recommend to those shopping in each of the categories.”

Equipped with an optional Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) racing seat, harness, and carbon-ceramic brakes as well as a roll cage, the Stelvio Quadrifoglio ran the Nürburgring in a record 7:51.7 lap time, making it the fastest SUV to lap the iconic track in 2017. While the Giulia Quadrifoglio completed its fastest lap time around the same course with a time of 7:32.
