The Peugeot brand has released the first few teaser images of its upcoming Inception Concept vehicle, due to make its debut alongside the highly-anticipated Ram 1500 Revolution Concept at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2023 event in Las Vegas in January.
The Inception Concept will introduce Peugeot’s new design language, which will eventually find its way into the next generation of Peugeot electric vehicles (EVs).
The teaser images mark the first time that the public has actually gotten a peek at the actual concept vehicle. The images are quite cryptic, however, they do give us an idea of what to expect during the Thursday, January 5th unveiling.
First will see an image of the grille of the Inception, which appears to have three illuminated stripes with the new Peugeot shield in the center. The rear of the vehicle also appears to keep the Peugeot signature three-claw taillight design, which many Europeans have come accustomed to. We also see an illuminated circle which we believe is the cover of the charging port, as well as, the Inception Concept logo located somewhere on the exterior of the vehicle.
According to Peugeot, the Inception “opens a new era” for the French brand, centered around its three core values (Allure, Emotion, and Excellence). It also spoke of the brand’s “feline” like characteristics, a “revolutionary” interior design, and “unprecedented” driving sensations.
There isn’t much known about the concept, other than what the brand has hinted at. We know it will be the first vehicle for the brand to be shown on one of the four new electrified STLA architectures (more than likely either the STLA Large or STLA Medium).
Peugeot CEO, Linda Jackson will present the new Inception Concept during Stellantis CEO, Carlos Tavares’ keynote speech at the Venetian Palazzo Ballroom.
MoparInsiders.com will be hosting a streaming party of the presentation LIVE. So be sure to mark January 5th, down on your calendar as it looks to be an enlighting day for the automaker.
