Jeep® Mexico Introduces Wrangler Rubicon XTREME-TRAIL RATED Limited Edition:

Brand Will Build 100 Limited Edition Wranglers For Mexican Market...

Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) Mexico has announced that it will launch a new limited-edition Jeep® Wrangler for the Mexican market. The legendary off-road brand has pulled back the covers of its new Mexican-exclusive 2020 Jeep® Wrangler Rubicon XTREME-TRAIL RATED limited edition. The limited-edition Wrangler will have a total of 100 units produced. So what makes the Jeep® Wrangler Rubicon XTREME-TRAIL RATED so special? Let’s take a closer look.

Based on the 2020 Jeep® Wrangler Rubicon, the XTREME-TRAIL RATED utilizes the Rubicon’s unmatched off-road capabilities with the 4×4 Command-Trac® and Rock-Trac® 4×4 systems, the latest generation of Dana axles, front and rear electronic locking differentials Tru-Lock, 33-inch off-road tires, Rock Rails steel protection stirrups and steel protective plates, and an exclusive chest with Power Dome functional vents.

The XTREME-TRAIL RATED Package features robust steel bumpers, of which, the front bumper features exclusive red tow hooks, the ability to accommodate a winch, and can also have its outer corners removed to increase its off-road capabilities and provide an extreme angle of attack. The package also includes a Jeep Trail-Rated Kit, which features such important off-road items as a tow strap, D-rings, carabiner, gloves, and safety kit.

The new 2020 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon XTREME-TRAIL RATED retains its sculptural design that is immediately recognizable thanks to Jeep’s historical badges. The exterior design of the Wrangler is bold and robust. It exhibits a wide appearance and a low waistline, increasing the size of its windows to improve exterior visibility.
 
It maintains the legendary seven-bar grill with a more modern look. The outer grilles intersect with the headlights, thus paying homage to the iconic Jeep CJ models of the past. LED front headlights and fog lights provide a crisp white light and add to the distinctive image of the Wrangler. It has the well-known daytime running lights that form a halo around the outer perimeter of the headlamps, and front directional lights located on the front fenders. In the rear of the vehicle, are a pair of square LED tail lamps that also added to the legendary off-roaders’ appearance.

All 100 units of the Jeep Wrangler Rubicon XTREME-TRAIL RATED  limited edition will be featured in the popular Solar Yellow paint color.

The interior of the new Jeep Wrangler Rubicon XTREME-TRAIL RATED retains the exclusive style, versatility, comfort, and intuitive handling of the regular Rubicon model. The Jeep heritage-inspired center console features a clean and sculpted design that complements that of the dashboard. A hand-coated instrument panel exhibits soft-touch surfaces with marked seams. Functional elements such as air conditioning and volume controls, USB ports, and the Engine Stop-Start (ESS) system button were designed for quick recognition and easy reach from the driver’s or passenger’s position. 
 
The functionality and versatility of Jeep are enhanced in the center console with silver metal accents. The center console houses the shifter, transfer case, and handbrake. The shifter, the grab handles, and the frame of the infotainment screen employ real screws, underlining the use of genuine construction methods.

The instrument panel features a 7-inch thin-film-transistor (TFT) display that allows the driver to configure the information displayed in more than 100 different ways, including music, tire pressure, or a digital speed indicator. The buttons integrated into the steering wheel allow you to control the audio system, voice and speed functions without taking your hands off the wheel at any time.
 
The 8.4-inch touchscreen incorporates the multi-user Uconnect infotainment system. Two USB ports in the front and another two within reach of the rear occupants are connected to the “multimedia” center. Several 12-volt auxiliary power outlets located throughout the interior of the Wrangler.

The 3.6-liter Pentastar V-6 engine delivers 285 horsepower and 260 foot-pounds of torque coupled to an 8-speed automatic transmission, now with the Stop-Start (ESS) system comes as the only available powertrain option on the Rubicon XTREME-TRAIL RATED. It is designed to provide a wide range of torque, with special emphasis on torque at low revolutions, a crucial aspect in extreme off-road driving.

Of course, the Jeep Wrangler Rubicon XTREME-TRAIL RATED features the Rock-Track 4×4 system incorporating the latest generation of Dana 44 high-performance front and rear axles, and a reducer (4LO) with a final 4:1 ratio. As standard, the ratio of the front and rear axles are 4.10 and this limited-edition Rubicon comes standard with the Tru-Lok electronic lock differentials.
 
The Wrangler Rubicon XTREME-TRAIL RATED has an impressive ascent ratio (crawl ratio) of 77:2:1. The system that allows you to easily overcome any obstacle, however complicated it may seem.

The new Mexican-exclusive 2020 Jeep® Wrangler Rubicon XTREME-TRAIL RATED limited edition has a price of $998,900 pesos (or about $53,240 USD). The new limited-edition Wrangler should be appearing in Jeep Mexico showrooms very soon
