Orders Now Open for New 2022 (Jeep®)RED Renegade Special Edition!

A few weeks back, we discussed that the Jeep® brand was bringing another (RED) model to its lineup in the footsteps of its Compass offering. This past Friday, Jeep finally opened ordering for the new 2022 (Jeep)^RED Renegade buzz model. 

Among its 14 brand portfolio, Stellantis made special edition models using its FIAT, Ram, and Jeep® brands. Stellantis has said that the (RED)-branded vehicles would drive awareness to the (RED) campaign, in a multi-year partnership between the two identities. It has been said that the partnership will deliver a minimum of $4 million of the brand’s proceeds to fight global health emergencies, including AIDS and COVID-19, between 2021 and 2023.

The (Jeep)^RED Renegade special-edition 4×4 model comes standard with a 1.3-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine mated to a segment-first nine-speed automatic transmission. The Jeep Active Drive full-time 4×4 automatic system delivers seamless operation in and out of four-wheel drive, at any speed with no driver intervention. Adding to the Renegade’s best-in-class off-road capability is the segment-exclusive disconnecting rear axle and Power Transfer Unit (PTU) to provide 4×4 models with enhanced fuel economy.

The (Jeep)^RED Renegade will be available in 4 exterior colors including Colorado Red, Sting-Gray, Alpine White, and Black.

All Renegade models are equipped with more than 70 standard and available safety and security features, including Full-Speed Forward Collision Warning with Active Braking, Blind-spot Monitoring and Active Lane Management System.

The 2022 (Jeep)^RED Renegade has a starting U.S. Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) of $29,590 (not including $1,595 for destination). The (Jeep)^RED Renegade will also be available in Canada, but Jeep has yet to officially release the Canadian pricing.
