Ram Trucks is well-known for its powerful and versatile pickup trucks, as well as its creative and engaging marketing campaigns. One such campaign was the introduction of Harvest Edition models for the Ram 1500 and 2500/3500 Heavy Duty series of pickups, which allowed customers to choose from two agricultural colors.
Although Ram has a corporate connection with CNH Industries, the parent company of IHI Case and New Holland, the brand has never offered a John Deere-themed pickup. However, digital artist Oscar Vargas (@wb.artist20) has paid tribute to his father-in-law, John Lee Meanor, with a one-of-a-kind Ram 3500 that blends Meanor’s love for John Deere with his own Ram pickup.
The John Deere-themed Ram 3500 showcases Vargas’ creativity and attention to detail. The truck’s chassis and wheels are painted in a gold-like color and wrapped with tractor tires. A vented hood features John Deere-styled extractors, while cross fender badges, custom John Meanor badging, 3500 “Heavenly Duty” hood badges, and a John Deere-styled push bar add to the truck’s unique look.
Moreover, the Ram 3500 also features rear window decals representing Mr. Meanor’s service in the U.S. Air Force and his 21 children (10 biological and 11 adopted). A John Deere-styled push bar and a matching trailer loaded up with a John Deere 120R compact utility tractor complete the package.
The John Deere-themed Ram 3500 is not just a paint scheme but a tribute to a man who loved John Deere and the outdoors. Vargas’ creation is a fitting tribute to his father-in-law, and it showcases how a Ram truck can become a work of art that celebrates the life and legacy of a beloved family member.
