A couple of weeks ago, we discussed that Ram Trucks was adding even more technology to its 2021 Ram 1500 lineup to make its customer’s lives and work even easier. You might remember, that our good friends at TFLTruck.com received some spy photos of the highly-anticipated 2021 Ram 1500 TRX’s interior. In those photos, we saw a new Trailer Steering knob, that will allow customers to back up a trailer with ease. Now, thanks to dealer order guides, we are learning more about the new package surrounding the new technology for the Ram 1500.
The new “trailer reverse steering control” as Ram is calling it, will be part of the updated Trailer Tow Group (AHC) package for 2021. The package will include the following features…
- Trailer Light Check (JJ1)
- Trailer Brake Control (XHC)
- Trailer Reverse Steering Control (XA1)
- Trailer Tire Pressure Monitoring (XG9)
The new package should be available across the 2021 Ram 1500 lineup, which includes the 707 horsepower 2021 Ram 1500 TRX. While we don’t know the official pricing yet for the package, it should be one of the more popular packages for the 2021 Ram 1500 lineup.
We will discuss the new package more in detail once Ram Trucks releases more information on its new 2021 Ram 1500 lineup. To further discuss more details about the 2021 Ram 1500, be sure to join the discussion on the 5thGenRams forums.
