Stellantis Recalls Nearly 6,000 Vehicles For Brake Pedal Defect
Stellantis (FCA US, LLC) is recalling approximately 5,974 plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (PHEVs) after discovering that the brake pedal arm may collapse during normal braking, potentially resulting in a loss of braking function. The recall affects certain 2024 Alfa Romeo Tonale (GC) and 2024 Dodge Hornet (GG) PHEV models built during specific production periods. If the brake pedal arm collapses, the driver may be unable to activate the service brakes, increasing the risk of a crash without prior warning.
