HEMI® V8 Dodge Charger In The Works, But HURRICANE I6 Come First
Yesterday, we broke the news that multiple HEMI® V8 engines are set to return, with production starting at the Dundee Engine Plant (DEP) in Michigan as early as this August. Now, we have even more exciting information—Dodge engineers are actively working to bring HEMI power back to the all-new Dodge Charger (LB). While muscle car fans will have to wait until late 2026 for the return of V8 performance, Dodge isn’t leaving them hanging. 2025 Ram 1500 Lineup Debuts In Australia
Ram Trucks Australia has officially unveiled its 2025 Ram 1500 (DT) lineup, ditching the 5.7-liter HEMI® V8 in favor of the new twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter HURRICANE I6 engine. The lineup will kick off with two new variants, the Ram 1500 Laramie Sport and Limited Night Edition—both featuring increased power, torque, and upgraded technology. Exterior Design and Features – Ram has refreshed the 1500’s exterior with redesigned LED headlights, tail-lights, front fascia, and wheels. The Laramie Sport gets 20-inch aluminum wheels (275/55R20 tires), while the Limited Night Edition rides on 22-inch aluminum wheels (285/45R22 tires). The RamBox storage system and spray-in bedliner…
