Mopar Mexico's PDC Expansion in Toluca Catalyzes Faster Delivery and Enhanced Service...
Stellantis’ Mopar Mexico has undergone a significant expansion at its Parts Distribution Center (PDC) located in Vesta Park II, Toluca, State of Mexico. The strategic move aims to elevate customer service by fortifying their ability to promptly deliver parts and accessories across the nation.
Rapid Access to Over 50,000 Part Numbers –
One of the pivotal enhancements lies in the PDC’s enlarged capacity, boasting an impressive catalog of over 50,000 part numbers. This comprehensive inventory spans various brands under the Stellantis umbrella that includes Chrysler, Dodge, FIAT, Jeep®, Peugeot, and Ram, catering to diverse needs while maintaining swift delivery times.
Efficient Nationwide Distribution –
The bolstered infrastructure enables the distribution of these parts to more than 175 points of sale throughout Mexico. With an accelerated delivery schedule of 24 to 48 hours to distributors, the expanded center caters to the urgency inherent in the automotive industry.
Enhanced Performance with Original Mopar Accessories –
The PDC also houses Mopar accessories crafted by the same engineering prowess responsible for designing Stellantis vehicles. These original parts not only amplify the performance of the brand’s cars but also safeguard the vehicle warranties, ensuring customers experience optimal quality and reliability.
Exceeding Logistic Standards –
Designed to meet and surpass industry-leading logistics benchmarks, this 45,000 m2 (approx. 484,376 sq.-ft.) facility operates at peak efficiency. Its daily shipping capacity of 24,000 pieces enables seamless integration with warehouses in the United States and Canada, facilitating smoother operations on a regional scale.
Innovation Beyond Borders: Online Presence –
Complementing the physical PDC, Mopar leverages online platforms such as Amazon and Mercado Libre. These e-commerce avenues offer convenient accessibility for customers seeking parts and accessories, enhancing the brand’s outreach and service flexibility.
A Look Back and Forward –
Originally inaugurated in 2015, the PDC’s growth represents a continual commitment to meeting evolving customer demands. With an investment of $189 million pesos (approximately $9.35 million USD), this expansion underscores Mopar’s dedication to enhancing service quality and maintaining its position as a leading provider in the automotive aftermarket industry.
