Mopar Madness Set to Invade M1 Cars & Coffee on August 2nd

SRT, HELLCATs, and Jeep® Legends to Take Over Woodward’s M1 Concourse

Mark your calendars, Mopar fans—Saturday, August 2, 2025, is shaping up to be one of the biggest mornings of the summer for car enthusiasts across Metro Detroit. That’s when M1 Concourse in Pontiac, Michigan, hosts its next Cars & Coffee event, and this time it’s all about Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep®, Plymouth, Ram, and everything Mopar.

Running from 8:00 to 11:00 a.m., this monthly car gathering invites owners of all performance vehicles to come show off, but the spotlight will be squarely on SRT machines, old-school muscle, and modern Mopar builds that define horsepower, heritage, and street presence.

Whether you’ve got a classic Plymouth ‘Cuda, a lifted Wrangler Rubicon, or a modern-day Dodge Charger SRT HELLCAT Redeye Widebody—if it’s fast, aggressive, and proud of its roots, it belongs at M1.

But this event isn’t just for Mopar iron—all performance vehicles are welcome, including Lamborghinis, Ferraris, McLarens, Porsches, and any other exotic that dares to share the spotlight. Still, SRT owners are being called front and center, with a special emphasis on Vipers, HELLCATs, Demons, Trackhawks, and high-powered Mopar builds of all kinds.

Gates open at 8:00 a.m., and Arena display spots are first-come, first-parked—so show up early if you want that prime location. The entry fee is $20 per vehicle, which covers everyone in your car. Even better? A portion of your ticket supports M1 Mobility, a local nonprofit helping Pontiac residents gain access to reliable transportation.

Here’s what else you can expect on site:

  • Coffee and donuts (because what’s a Cars & Coffee without ‘em?)

  • A live DJ keeping the energy high

  • Racing simulators to test your reflexes

  • An indoor slot car track and R/C racing for all ages

  • Hot Wheels drag races

  • Rhino Dyno mobile chassis dyno for some real-time power pulls

  • And “Best of Show” awards for the top three vehicles

Inside the Event Center, the Off the Grid speaker series will feature Ian Sharp, CEO of Hybine Propulsion Systems and one of the key engineers behind Chrysler’s innovative hybrid-powered Patriot Le Mans race car from the ’90s. His talk on hybrid racing tech before it was cool is sure to be a hit with the gearheads in the crowd.
