Meet The 2026 Jeep® Wrangler Willys ’41 Edition
Newest Buzz Model Is Follow-Up To The Gladiator and Wrangler 4xe Military Inspired Units
Jeep® is doubling down on heritage for 2026, following the recent debut of the Gladiator Willys ’41 buzz model with a new throwback-themed Wrangler of its own. Say hello to the 2026 Jeep® Wrangler Willys ‘41 Edition, a gas-powered follow-up to last year’s Wrangler 4xe variant—this time bringing the classic military look to the iconic two-door and four-door Wrangler lineup without the plug-in component.
Jeep® CEO Bob Broderdorf sums it up perfectly: “The Willys ‘41 buzz model brings military-inspired design and proven Jeep capability together in a way that’s both timeless and trail-ready.”
A Paint Color With a Mission –

The first thing anyone notices is the unmistakable military olive drab–inspired ‘41 exterior paint color. It’s not just another shade of green—it’s been purposely engineered to echo the original Willys MBs that served around the world in the 1940s. Jeep doubles down on the vintage theme by painting the exclusive 17-inch aluminum wheels in the same hue, then wrapping them in beefy 33-inch BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A tires for added stance and capability.
Drab Blue Graphics With Authentic Roots –

One of the most impressive details is the decal package. Jeep designers intentionally reached back to the Willys MB for reference. The hood-side WILLYS / 4X4 markings are finished in Drab Blue, a historically accurate color that mimics the factory stenciling the U.S. Army required during World War II. Jeep says these markings were crafted to “authentically replicate” the utilitarian look of the original Jeeps—giving this special edition instant credibility among history buffs and off-road traditionalists alike. Additional Army-inspired graphics are scattered around the exterior for even more nostalgia without overdoing it.
A Cabin With Classic Flavor –

The interior gets its own dose of throwback charm. Unique tan Heritage cloth seats, an olive-drab dashboard insert, and a ‘41 shifter medallion set this Wrangler apart from the regular Willys. For open-air fans, Jeep offers multiple roof choices: the familiar body-color hardtop, the Sky One-Touch power top, and—new for this edition—an exclusive Tan soft top that completes the vintage military theme.
Capability Comes Standard –

This isn’t just a styling exercise. A rear axle locker is standard, giving drivers extra traction when the terrain gets loose. Jeep also equips the Willys ’41 Edition with front and rear steel bumpers, providing added durability for trail use.
The 2026 Wrangler Willys ’41 Edition is a thoughtful, well-executed tribute to the vehicle that started it all—mixing real historical accuracy with the everyday capability modern Jeep owners expect. It’s a buzz model done right, and one that proudly honors Jeep’s past while staying ready for any trail in its future.
