Maserati Reveals Quattroporte Grand Finale and MC20 Iris
Exclusive One-Offs Showcase Ultimate Craftsmanship...
Last week, Maserati hosted a special event in Stresa, Italy, by the picturesque Lake Maggiore, with the delivery of two unique cars to a dedicated customer from the U.S. The customer, a prominent entrepreneur in the biomedical sector, received the final V8-powered Quattroporte and a one-of-a-kind MC20 Iris.
The Quattroporte Grand Finale marks the end of an era for Maserati as the last model to feature the V8 combustion engine. This car, renamed the Quattroporte Grand Finale, showcases the best of Maserati’s luxury and craftsmanship. Its exterior shines in the elegant Blu Nobile color, complemented by a carbon fiber body kit in the same tone and brushed aluminum brake calipers. The powerful 572 horsepower twin-turbocharged F154 V8 engine is housed under a custom cover signed by the Maserati Fuoriserie team and engineers, adding a personal touch to this historic model. The identification number 999999 is imprinted on the windscreen and inside the driver’s door, marking it as the final Quattroporte of its kind.
Inside, the Quattroporte Grand Finale is a tribute to Italian artisanship. The interior features a steering wheel with burl accents, tan door panels, black leather A-pillar, and black-stitched Trident logos on the headrests. The boot is lined with leather, and the passenger door handles also feature burl accents. A special ‘Grand Finale’ badge on the central tunnel and dedicated door sills further distinguish this unique vehicle.
The MC20 Iris is equally special, designed with the theme of a rainbow (iris) in mind. The car’s AI Aqua Rainbow color dominates its exterior, including the Trident logo on the hubcaps. Inside, the rainbow theme continues with AI Aqua Rainbow stitching on the armrest, a central tunnel made of ICE leather, and a steering wheel. The ‘+’ and ‘-’ signs on the steering wheel paddles and the viewfinder on the steering wheel’s upper rim also share this vibrant color. The door sills feature laser-cut ‘MC20 Iris’ lettering, and the stitching on the engine compartment and boot match the car’s lively color scheme.
Both cars are part of Maserati’s Fuoriserie customization program, which showcases the brand’s ability to create unique, tailor-made vehicles that blend tradition with innovation. These one-offs highlight Maserati’s commitment to meeting its customers’ specific desires while pushing the boundaries of automotive design and craftsmanship.
