The Maserati brand is participating in the third edition of the Motor Valley Fest, an open-air festival celebrating Italy’s “Motor Valley” which kicks off today. The four-day event is full of premieres, events, and press conferences and held in Maserati’s backyard of Modena, Italy.
Due to the pandemic, last year’s event was conducted via Livestream. But this year, the event will be conducted in person and will take over the home of the “Trident” brand.
For Maserati fans, the event will be an enthusiast’s delight as Maserati will not only be pulling the covers off of a new special Levante Trofeo Fuoriserie Edition created by Massimo Bottura (Italian restaurateur and the chef patron of Osteria Francescana, a three-Michelin-star restaurant based in Modena) but also tours of the historic Modena plant where the new MC20 super sportscar is being produced.
It marks the first time the plant has opened its doors to the public since being modernized and dedicated solely to produce the new MC20, which is expected to produce 2,000 units in its first model year. The Modena plant combines the brand’s “Made In Italy” DNA and its heritage with an irrepressible drive towards the future and innovation. The updated production, engine, assembly, and painting facilities that house the production of the MC20 will also produce its future electrified counterpart starting next year.
Fans will also be able to visit the showroom at Modena, which will host a whole setup dedicated to the legendary Maserati 250F, the F1 car that carried Juan Manual Fangio to victory in 1954 and again 1957 F1 World Championships. There will also be a Quattroporte Fuoriserie Unica one-off car built to represent the Unica collection of the Maserati customization program.
A number of Maserati representatives including Francesco Tonon (Head of Product Planning, Maserati Fuoriserie & Maserati Classiche), Davide Danesin (Maserati GT Line Program Executive), Paolo Tubito (Maserati CMO), Klaus Busse (Head of Maserati Design), Enrico Billi (Maserati Head of Product Management), and Marco Magnanini (Maserati Global Brand Manager) will be conduction round table events throughout the four days.
Those who are in attendance will surely be awarded a good time. As for the rest of us, some of the events will be Livestreamed across social media like the Motor Valley YouTube channel.
