Maserati MC20 Tributo Modenese: A One-Of-A-Kind Tribute
Celebrating Modena’s Legacy with Exclusive Design and Cutting-Edge Performance...
Maserati is set to officially reveal a one-of-a-kind supercar, the MC20 Tributo Modenese, during Monterey Car Week 2024. This exclusive model was created as a tribute to Modena, the city that has been the heart of Maserati’s operations since its founding. The MC20 Tributo Modenese showcases Italian craftsmanship, cutting-edge technology, and a deep connection to Maserati’s history.
A State-of-the-Art Chassis –
The Maserati MC20’s chassis is a marvel of modern engineering designed to deliver exceptional performance and handling. Constructed from lightweight carbon fiber, the chassis contributes to the car’s impressive rigidity and strength while minimizing overall weight. This advanced material choice not only enhances the vehicle’s agility and responsiveness but also ensures optimal balance and stability at high speeds.
The carbon fiber monocoque design provides superior crash protection and contributes to a lower center of gravity, improving the MC20’s dynamic handling characteristics. Additionally, the chassis integrates seamlessly with the car’s sophisticated suspension system, allowing for precise control and an engaging driving experience reflecting Maserati’s commitment to comfort and performance.
Twin-Turbo V6 Power –
The Nettuno engine is a marvel of engineering that exemplifies cutting-edge performance. This 3.0-liter V6 twin-turbocharged engine delivers an impressive 621 horsepower and 538 lb-ft (730 Nm) of torque. It enables the car to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph (0 to 100 km/h) in just 2.9 seconds and reach a top speed of approximately 205 mph (330 km/h). The Nettuno is equipped with Maserati’s innovative pre-chamber combustion system, which optimizes fuel combustion efficiency and power output.
A Unique Tribute –
The special edition Maserati dazzles with a striking color scheme that pays homage to Modena’s heritage. At the front, the iconic Trident badge stands out in vibrant yellow, a hue that cascades across the car with bold stripes running along the front wings, side profile, and rear fascia. The rear and side badges and brake calipers also feature this vivid yellow, contrasting sharply against sleek black wheels. An ombré finish seamlessly transitions between the prominent blue Trident emblem at the front and the black roof and front arches.
Several exciting new models, including the all-new MC20-based MCXtrema track car and the MC20 Icona, among other Maserati vehicles, will join the MC20 Tributo Modenese.
