Maserati has officially unleashed the GT2 Stradale, a road-legal version of its GT2 race car that embodies the brand’s deep motorsport heritage. After its global debut on August 16 at The Quail during Monterey Car Week, the high-performance machine is now set to hit the streets, starting in Europe this April.
A Perfect Fusion of Racing and Road Performance –

The GT2 Stradale is based on the track-only Maserati GT2, which made waves in the Fanatec GT2 European Series. However, this version has been fine-tuned for street use while retaining the extreme performance that made its race-spec sibling a standout. It combines the best aspects of the MC20 supercar with GT2 racing elements, creating a vehicle that delivers both exhilarating speed and surprising comfort.
Unveiled in Andalusia with an Exclusive Test Drive –

To celebrate its arrival, Maserati hosted an exclusive test drive event in Spain’s Andalusia region, where select customers and stakeholders experienced the GT2 Stradale on both public roads and the renowned Ascari circuit near Ronda. The journey started in Marbella and wound through the scenic Sierra de las Nieves National Park before reaching the 3.37-mile (5,425-meter) private racetrack, named after Italian Formula 1 champion Alberto Ascari, who also competed with Maserati.
Power and Performance: The Heart of a Champion –

At the core of the GT2 Stradale is Maserati’s twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter Nettuno V6 engine, now pushing out 640 horsepower (471 kW) – a 10 horsepower boost over the MC20. This power, combined with a lightweight build, allows the car to rocket from 0 to 62 mph (0-100 km/h) in just 2.8 seconds, with a top speed of 201 mph (324 km/h). Rear-wheel drive and advanced aerodynamics ensure that the car delivers razor-sharp handling and an electrifying driving experience.
Customization and Maserati’s Racing Legacy –

Maserati’s Fuoriserie customization program offers unique liveries for the GT2 Stradale, allowing buyers to tailor the car to their personal style. The Ascari event also featured a dedicated space highlighting Maserati Corse’s rich motorsport history, with the GT2 race car displayed alongside its street-legal counterpart.
Bringing the Track to the Road –

Designed to bridge the gap between track-focused performance and everyday usability, the Maserati GT2 Stradale represents a bold step forward for the brand. With its deep racing DNA, breathtaking speed, and Italian craftsmanship, this road-legal racer is set to redefine what a street-going Maserati can be.
