Maserati Gives Us Our Best Look At The Upcoming GranTurismo Folgore Yet!

The 1,200 Horsepower GT Car Is Almost Here...

For the first time ever, a prototype 2024 Maserati GranTurismo Folgore took to the streets today after the announcement of Maserati’s partnership with ROKiT Venturi Racing about its Formula E program before the Rome Grand Prix.

The all-new GranTurismo will be the first model in Maserati history to adopt 100% electric solutions. Built at the Mirafiori production hub, it will debut on the market in 2023. As a true icon for the brand, it will offer the characteristic Maserati sound as well as cutting-edge technical solutions, superb performance, comfort, and design, all things that the Maserati brand is known for.

The latest detailed information about the GranTurismo Folgore has the car putting out over 1,200 horsepower, from a tri-motor setup. A convertible version (the GranCabrio) will follow soon after.

With both Maserati CEO, Davide Grasso, and Stellantis CEO, Carlos Tavares, at the event in Rome, it didn’t take long for both men to proudly show off the future of electrification for the brand. Tavares took advantage of the situation and was able to put some miles (kilometers) out on public roads with the new electrified GT car.

The two also had a Grecale Folgore prototype on hand, as well.

The event gave us our best look at the all-new GranTurismo yet. It showed us an even more elegant and refined GranTurismo than the previous generation. Something we can’t wait to see the final results for. We should be seeing more details by the end of this year.
