The First In A Series Of "Last Call" Models For The HEMI®-Powered Dodge Durango...

The end of the HEMI era is approaching for the Dodge Durango with the introduction of the 2024 Dodge Durango SRT392 AlcHEMI, marking the beginning of a series of “Last Call” models commemorating the final calendar year of HEMI engine production for the Durango.

Production of all HEMI-powered Dodge Durango models, including the 710 horsepower Dodge Durango SRT HELLCAT, will conclude at the end of 2024. The 2025 model year is expected to be the final year for the current generation Durango, with a completely new model anticipated for 2026.

The 2024 Dodge Durango SRT392 AlcHEMI® is a special edition based on the SRT392 Premium, featuring a unique appearance package. Limited to 1,000 units, with 250 units planned for each of the four exterior colors (Diamond Black, Destroyer Gray, Vapor Gray, and White Knuckle), this edition offers distinctive features, including 20-inch x 10-inch Satin Black-forged SRT wheels, Yellow SRT-branded Brembo® brakes, vinyl fender decals, dual exterior stripes with Yellow accents, Black exhaust tips, and unique interior accents.

Key features of the 2024 Dodge Durango SRT392 AlcHEMI® include:

  • 20-inch x 10-inch Satin Black-forged SRT wheels
  • Yellow SRT-branded Brembo® brakes
  • Satin Black “392” vinyl fender decals with Yellow accents
  • Honeycomb-textured dual exterior stripes with Yellow-accent borders
  • Black exhaust tips
  • Midnight Metallic-colored grille and liftgate badges
  • Unique SRT interior with Yellow and Silver stitching
  • SRT “392” logo embroidered on seatbacks
  • Leather and Suede steering wheel with a backlit White SRT logo
  • Forged carbon-fiber interior accents
2024 Dodge Durango SRT392 AlcHEMI® “Last Call”. (Dodge).

Like the Challenger and Charger “Last Call” models, Dodge is reopening its “Horsepower Locator” for these “Last Call” Durango HEMI models on DodgeGarage.com. Allocations for the AlcHEMI will be based on dealer sales goals in January, and customers can search for allocations in late February to reserve their vehicle.

The AlcHEMI® package has a U.S. Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) of $3,595, in addition to the starting MSRP of the 2024 Dodge Durango SRT392 Premium model. Production is set to begin in April, with vehicles arriving at allocated dealers in May. Dodge has not yet announced if or when the AlcHEMI® package will be available on Canadian models as of the date of this article.

I might be wrong, but I thought 2024 is the last year for the HEMI, on cars and trucks.

Could they be just sending the current generation cars as “Last Call” and still keeping hope for the HEMI for the next generation models ?

While the Dodge brand is currently rolling out its 'Last Call' HEMI® V8 models for the 2025 model year in the U.S. and Canada, the American automaker has announced it has reserved an undetermined number of 2024 Dodge Durango SRT392 AlcHEMI® "Last Call" models for the European market.

It’s nice that this is still being offered on a few models. Sure would of been nice to see that engine in a sporty street Ram 1500 though.

These are probably left over engines form the last call Challenger, Chargers that were never built so they need to put them somewhere, just a guess.

Agreed. A 6.4-liter HEMI 5thGenRam would have been the vehicle I would have in my garage now if it was in production.
