Just like the Wagoneer Roadtrip Concept we showed you yesterday, we also got to really get a good look at the Jeep Wrangler J-Wagon Concept this past weekend. The J-Wagon Concept is personalized with a bunch of Jeep Performance Parts, to create a premium-styled version of the Wrangler that is home on the trails and the city streets.
The Jeep Performance Parts team started with a 2018 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Sahara which is painted in a conceptual “Warm Neutral Grey”. The J-Wagon is complemented with subtle Brass Monkey touches throughout the exterior of the vehicle. The J-Wagon features a Jeep Performance Parts hood designed with a cutout kit to work with the available snorkel. The aftermarket hood latches have the Willys Logo and are highlighted in Brass Monkey color.
The exterior also features new 5-inch LED lights to deliver the ultimate illumination for off-roading. The J-Wagon features a Mopar black grille from the Rubicon and features a body-color matching bezel trim. The Sahara bumper features Brass Monkey trim bezels. The J-Wagon concept also features 17-inch slot-design wheels that are also finished in Brass Monkey color.
Black metal concept rock sliders guard the J-Wagon’s exterior, and a matching black metal concept Jeep Performance Parts roof rack offers utility and functionality to fit any lifestyle. A black fuel door and Orange Crush accents on the Jeep badge and tow hooks add style points. A spare 35-inch KM3 BFGoodrich tire mounts to the spare tire tailgate hinge reinforcement, and includes the Jeep Performance Parts Center High-Mount Stop Light (CHMSL) light relocation kit.
The interior also gets the luxury treatment. Camel-color Katzkin leather seats with Sahara name embroidered in them and feature stark brown piping. Brass Monkey trim and bezel accents on the HVAC vents, door handles and steering wheel adorn the interior with the exterior.
The J-Wagon Concept definitely makes the Wrangler Sahara more luxury oriented. While export models of the Wrangler get a special Overland trim on certain models. This is the closest we will get here in North America to a luxury trimmed Wrangler. Good news is that most of the things shown on the J-Wagon are available from the Jeep Performance Parts bin. You can order them from either Mopar.com or your local dealer now.
