Jeep® Wagoneer S Models Are Getting Ready To Be Shipped Out

Sources Indicate Wagoneer S Launch Edition Shipments Are Imminent...

The Jeep® Wagoneer S ushers the American adventure brand into the electric vehicle (EV) market with luxury, power, and sustainable performance. Known for its rugged off-road vehicles, Jeep has taken a stylish, luxurious approach with the Wagoneer S, showcasing modern design, advanced technology, and impressive performance specifications.

Despite being branded as a 2024 model, the Jeep Wagoneer S Launch Edition has yet to make its way to dealerships, even with 2025 just around the corner. While Jeep initially set high expectations for its first all-electric luxury SUV to arrive in 2024, ongoing delays have prevented customers from seeing the Wagoneer S in showrooms.

Production of the Wagoneer S Launch Edition began in August 2024 at Stellantis’ Toluca Assembly Plant in Mexico. Due to initial quality concerns, Jeep held back on deliveries to resolve any issues. According to MoparInsiders.com sources, most of these concerns have now been addressed, and Jeep plans to begin shipments to dealers by December 1, just in time for the holiday season. The Wagoneer S is expected to arrive in select international markets shortly after its North American debut.

Carlos and company keep pushing their electric fantasy. These Jeeps will clog up a Jeep dealership near you…and me. Uninspiring design that will seal the deal. Flop.

The Wagoneer S is a limited edition model like the Grand Cherokee Trackhawk and SRT were. I won't pass judgement until we see its platform mate, the next Cherokee. The one thing Carlos & Company did right was hedge their bet and not use a skateboard chassis design for the corporate full battery electric models.

That makes Ice only models still possible. Otherwise HEV is the only Ice model you can have. I wouldn't expect that for every platform though in the future.

I will concede your thoughts on the S but not sure it was intended to be a niche model as you described but still maintain personally that the Wagoneer luxury line was a good idea and that a mid size Wagoneer was a good decision. Electric only was a poor decision as perhaps these guys are grudgingly finding out. Going upscale in price and content on a separate Wagoneer line was a risky, but logically bold decision by Jeep. Stick with it Jeep. The problem is they decided to charge premium prices for their down stream models, dropped the Renegade and Cherokee and couldn’t figure out why sales tanked. Really!
I agree the Cherokee is the game changer, a wildly popular Jeep, I’ve owned two, and am sticking with my reliable, satisfying in every way 2019. If they do a good job, I’ll consider another Cherokee. Hoping for something that matches or exceeds my current Jeep. That’s not easy.

This should of been a Chrysler model plain and simple. Chrysler is suppose to be the luxury brand and Jeep is the Four Wheel Drive SUV brand. Stellantis should do market research here to determine what each brand should sale here.
