The XMasters Winter Tour is sort of a winter XGames event for the Italian public. The event is usually held at a selected ski resort in Italy and over the stretch of several days, it blends the best of winter action sports (SnowYoga, SnowBowling, Beerpong, SnowBike, and SnowScoot), freestyle competition, and some of the hottest music from a talented list of renowned DJs. The 2022 event ended this past weekend after four days in the San Pellegrino Pass, which is a high mountain pass in the Italian Dolomites.
In its 13th year, the Jeep® brand returned to the event to not only sponsor but offer the public a chance to experience the latest lineup of Jeep vehicles.
A 1,200 m2 (almost 13,000 sq. ft.) interactive test track was set up for attendees this year. Among the highlighted features was a new mobile trailer, capable of creating a new 9 meter (30 foot) high climbing structure featuring a tilting mechanism with a 45 ° slope. The new mobile mountain rig also included 2 large LED screens and Easy Wallbox charging capabilities to charge the 4xe models. Jeep instructors helped navigate attendees through the various courses, which highlight the off-road features of the Jeep vehicles on hand.
Made mostly up of the European 4xe lineup, the Jeep brand brought its popular Renegade 4xe, Compass 4xe, and Wrangler Unlimited 4xe models for fans to experience. The plug-in hybrid (PHEV) Renegade and Compass 4xe are both “Made in Italy” and are the best-selling vehicles in the Italian low-emissions vehicle (LEV) segment (which includes both full-electric and PHEV vehicles). The Jeep Wrangler Unlimited 4xe currently is the most powerful, efficient, sustainable, and technically advanced Wrangler ever introduced in Europe.
The 4xe range contains all the characteristic elements that define every Jeep SUV, from instantly recognizable design details that are specific to the brand and that visually communicate off-road capabilities, functionality, and dynamic behavior on the road, to the inimitable DNA that is found under the skin and that thanks to PHEV technology make Wrangler, Compass, and Renegade the most sustainable, performing and fun to drive Jeep SUVs ever, literally capable of “going anywhere and doing anything”, in compliance with the well-known claim “Go Anywhere, Do Anything “. And later this year, the 4xe range will be joined by the flagship Grand Cherokee, the most awarded SUV ever, in a plug-in hybrid version for the first time.
