Jeep® Renegade Upland Returns To America For 2023 Model Year
And It Brings One Of The Renegade's Most Popular Colors Back With It...
Jeep® has announced that the 2023 Renegade lineup will be expanding with the re-introduction of the Upland trim. The special edition model pairs the Renegade’s handsome off-road looks and best-in-class capability with a well-appointed interior and some upgraded content. With it comes the return of one of the most popular colors from the Renegade’s past: Solar Yellow.

These well-known characteristics are even more evident with the popular Upland edition, which is packed with legendary Jeep 4×4 capability, rugged good looks, and premium appointments – all at an affordable price point,” said Jim Morrison, Senior Vice President and Head of Jeep North America. “Our vibrant exterior color palette is something we take great pride in, so reviving Solar Yellow for the Renegade lineup is yet another example of a standout exterior shade that speaks to our loyal and avid Jeep community.”
Based on the popular Latitude trim, the Renegade Upland has a U.S. Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) of $595 for the package. The Upland package includes the following equipment:

Powered by the turbocharged 1.3-liter MultiAir® inline-four-cylinder engine that is part of the Stellantis Global Small Engine (GSE) family, the 2023 Jeep Renegade Upland delivers 177 horsepower and 210 lb.-ft. of torque. The small GSE engine features direct-injection and engine start/stop (ESS) for optium performance.
It is mated to a standard 9-speed 948TE automatic transmission, the Renegade Upland comes standard with Jeep’s Active-Drive full-time four-wheel drive (4×4) system for seamless operation at any speed with no driver intervention. Renegade Upland also features Jeep’s Selec-Terrain traction system, providing four modes of traction (Auto, Snow, Sand, and Mud) for the best performance in any weather condition.

The 2023 Jeep Renegade Upland can be outfitted in a 6 exterior colors. Those colors include Alpine White, Black, Colorado Red, Slate Blue, Solar Yellow, and Sting-Gray. All colors except Alpine White have an additional $495 charge.
Solar Yellow is not just limited to the Upland model either, it is now available across the 2023 Renegade lineup.
Only one optional package is available on the Renegade Upland, the $2,595 Sun & Sound Group. That package adds a dual-pane panoramic power sunroof and a premium audio system with 9-speakers and a 560-watt amplifier.
Both the 2023 Jeep Renegade Upland and Solar Yellow exterior paint are now available for order at Jeep dealers across the United States. The Upland has a U.S. MSRP of $32,185.
