Jeep® has introduced an exclusive limited edition of its 2024 Wrangler (JL) Sahara Unlimited model to the Mexican market. The new 2024 Jeep Wrangler Sahara Tuscadero Sky-Freedom Edition is notable for its striking Tuscadero color—a deep, intense magenta—available for the first time on this model. Limited to just 100 units, this edition combines unique design elements and advanced features that set it apart from other Wrangler variants in the Mexican market.
Design and Features –
The Jeep Wrangler Sahara Tuscadero Sky-Freedom is based on the standard 2024 Wrangler Sahara but incorporates several distinctive features. It boasts the exclusive Sky One-Touch® Power Top, an electric retractable roof designed to enhance the driving experience with greater openness. The edition also has unique wheel designs that complement its vibrant Tuscadero color.
The Wrangler Sahara Tuscadero Sky-Freedom retains the rugged and bold exterior design of the Wrangler lineage, highlighted by the legendary seven-slot grille and modern LED headlights. The vehicle features improved visibility, larger windows, and a revised front end that pays homage to the classic Jeep CJ models.
Interior Upgrades –
Inside, the Tuscadero Sky-Freedom edition offers a range of premium upgrades. The cabin includes 12-way electrically adjustable front seats for added comfort and a new instrument panel featuring the Uconnect 5 system. This advanced infotainment system is showcased on a new 12.3-inch Uconnect 5 touchscreen, the largest ever offered in a Wrangler, and supports wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto™.
The interior also features new soft-touch materials and decorative stitching, enhancing the cabin’s look and feel. For connectivity, the Wrangler includes multiple USB Type-A and Type-C ports, standard 12-volt outlets, and an optional 115-volt AC outlet.
Performance and Pricing –
Under the hood, the Jeep Wrangler Sahara Tuscadero Sky-Freedom is powered by a turbocharged 2.0-liter Hurricane4 I4 engine. This engine delivers 270 horsepower and 295 lb.-ft. of torque and is paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission. The engine’s design includes a low-inertia twin-scroll turbocharger for responsive performance and efficiency.
The Wrangler Sahara Tuscadero Sky-Freedom Edition will be sold in Mexico for $1,414,900 MXN (or about $80,000 USD).
With only 100 units available in Mexico, this edition is set to be a standout choice for enthusiasts and collectors alike.
