Jeep® Gladiator Sport Gets New Off-Road Goodies From The Willys

Engineered from the ground up to be the most off-road capable Jeep® truck ever, the Gladiator (JT) has continued to build on the heritage of tough, dependable trucks with an unmatched combination of rugged utility, authentic Jeep design, open-air freedom, clever functionality, and versatility. 

In 2021, Jeep announced the introduction of the Gladiator Willys Sport and Willys. Both models featured a number of off-road goodies like a limited-slip differential, Rubicon rock rails and shocks, and 32-inch BFGoodrich Mud-Terrain KM2 tires along with some cool appearance details to create two very popular packages for its customer base.

As inflation and interest rates continue to increase, many potential buyers have been looking at more affordable models than ever before. So, Jeep is ready to offer yet another package, this time on its entry-level Sport model aimed directly at those customers looking for a budget-friendly off-road pickup.

The Sport Off-Road Group (AWV) takes the core items that people have loved from the Willys Sport and brought them to the standard Sport. Features like:

• 17-Inch x 7.5-Inch Black Aluminum Wheels (WAC)
• 32-Inch BFGoodrich Mud-Terrain KM2 Tires (TTK)
• Upgraded Sport Suspension (SDE)
• AUX Switch Group (AM2) –
  • 240-Amp Alternator
  • 700-Amp Maintenance-Free Battery
  • 4 Programmable Auxiliary Switches

The additional content is valued at $2,235, however, Jeep is adding the package to the Sport for $895 (a 60% discount). Again the Off-Road Group is exclusive to Sport (2TB) and not to Sport S.

While Jeep hasn’t officially updated Jeep.com to reflect the new package or made an official announcement, it has told its dealer body about the additional package. Expect ordering to open very soon.
