Jeep® Gives The Renegade Even More Standard Equipment For 2023 Model Year!
North American Model Will Not Get Styling Update...
Details about the North American-spec 2023 Jeep® Renegade (BV) have officially been released. Too much disappointment the North American marketplace will not get the updated variant that the Brazilian market got last summer. Instead, Jeep has added a ton of more standard features to the current model going into 2023.
For starters, four-wheel drive (4×4) is now standard across the entire lineup. Yes, no longer can you get a front-wheel drive (4×2) model in the United States (U.S.) or Canada.
Renegades for the U.S. will be available in three different models (Latitude, Trailhawk, and Limited). The lineup will continue to include the (RED) Edition or Altitude special editions for the Latitude, and the High Altitude special edition based on the Limited.

For those living in the “Great White North”, there will two models (North and Trailhawk). The North model is identical to the U.S. Latitude model and will feature both the (RED) Edition and Altitude special editions.
The 2023 Jeep Renegade continues to feature a standard turbocharged 1.3-liter (GSE-T4) inline-four-cylinder engine across the lineup. The GSE-T4 produces 177 horsepower and 210 lb.-ft. of torque and is mated to a 9-speed 948TE automatic transmission.
Renegade can tow up to 2,000 lbs. (907 kg) when properly equipped with the optional Trailer-Tow Package on Trailhawk models.
Both Jeep Active Drive and Active Drive Low (Trailhawk) Low 4×4 systems include the Jeep Selec-Terrain system, providing up to five modes (Auto, Snow, Sand, and Mud modes, plus exclusive Rock mode on the Trailhawk models) for the best 4×4 performance in the segment.
Renegade Trailhawk delivers best-in-class Trail Rated 4×4 capability with standard Jeep Active Drive Low with improved 21:1 crawl ratio, 8.7-inches of ground clearance, skid plates, signature red tow hooks, up to 8.1-inches of wheel articulation, Hill-Descent Control (HDC) and up to 19-inches of water fording.
Renegade now also comes standard with the award-winning 8.4-inch Uconnect 4C touchscreen with navigation with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto capability, Bluetooth hands-free calling, and voice commands.
