Jeep® Avenger 4xe Production Kicks Off in Poland
New AWD Avenger Starts Production with Limited Edition Model

Production of the all-new Jeep® Avenger 4xe officially began on Friday, March 28th, at the Stellantis Tychy Assembly Plant in Poland. This milestone marks Jeep’s continued expansion into electrified all-wheel-drive (AWD) vehicles, combining hybrid efficiency with legendary off-road capability. The first Avenger 4xe to roll off the line was part of The North Face Edition, a limited run of 4,806 units—a number chosen to match the 4,806-meter (15,774-foot) height of Mont Blanc, Europe’s highest peak.
The Tychy plant, which has been producing the Jeep Avenger since January 2023, has undergone extensive modernization to accommodate hybrid and AWD models. With Jeep’s electrification strategy in full swing, the Avenger 4xe introduces an innovative powertrain while retaining the rugged DNA that has made Jeep an off-road icon.
Hybrid Powertrain Meets Legendary Jeep Capability –

At the heart of the Jeep Avenger 4xe is an advanced 48-volt hybrid system that pairs a turbocharged 1.2-liter gasoline I3 engine with dual 21 kW electric motors, one mounted on each axle. This setup delivers a combined 145 horsepower (108 kW), ensuring strong performance both on and off the road.
The system is mated to a 6-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission, allowing for short bursts of all-electric driving at low speeds. When additional traction is needed, the rear electric motor automatically engages, providing seamless all-wheel-drive functionality.
Performance-wise, the Avenger 4xe is the most powerful hybrid in the lineup, boasting 36 more horsepower (27 kW) and 25 Nm (18 lb-ft) more torque than the front-wheel-drive e-Hybrid model. This translates to a 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) time of 9.5 seconds and a top speed of 194 km/h (121 mph)—10 km/h (6 mph) faster than the e-Hybrid version.
Designed for Off-Road Adventures –

Jeep built the Avenger 4xe with adventure in mind, improving its off-road capability over the standard front-wheel-drive version. The SUV features:
-
Ground Clearance: 210 mm (8.3 inches)—an increase of 10 mm (0.4 inches) over the e-Hybrid
-
Approach/Breakover/Departure Angles: 22° / 21° / 35°, ensuring better off-road maneuverability
-
Water Wading Depth: Up to 400 mm (15.7 inches)
-
Rear Axle Torque Multiplier: 22.7:1 gear ratio, generating 1,900 Nm (1,400 lb-ft) of torque at the rear wheels
-
Climbing Capability: Can handle up to a 40% grade on rough terrain
Additionally, Jeep’s Selec-Terrain® system allows drivers to optimize traction with selectable driving modes for different surfaces, including Snow, Mud, Sand, and Auto.
The North Face Edition: Built for the Outdoors –

As a tribute to exploration, Jeep partnered with The North Face to create a special edition of the Avenger 4xe that embodies the adventurous spirit of both brands. This exclusive model comes with premium outdoor-focused features, including:
-
Heated Windshield and Front Seats – Perfect for winter expeditions
-
Hands-Free Power Liftgate – Makes loading gear easier on the go
-
Multi-Color Ambient Lighting – Enhances the cabin experience
-
Advanced Navigation System – Helps drivers stay on track in remote areas
This collaboration marks Jeep’s commitment to not only electrification but also enhancing outdoor lifestyles, ensuring that adventure enthusiasts have the capability, comfort, and convenience needed for their journeys.
Tychy Plant: A Hub for Jeep’s Electrified Future –

The Tychy Assembly Plant, which has been in operation for 50 years, plays a vital role in Jeep’s European strategy. The facility employs 2,600 workers and produced 224,017 vehicles in 2023 alone. In January 2024, the 13-millionth vehicle rolled off its assembly line, highlighting the plant’s significant contribution to Stellantis’ global production network.
The first deliveries of the new model are expected to happen in May, offering European buyers a hybrid-powered, AWD Jeep that stays true to the brand’s legendary DNA.
