Jeep® Brings Back The Gladiator Texas Trail Model For 2024

Texas-Exclusive Model Returns With Updates For 2024 Model Year...

In a move that’s sure to rev up the Lone Star State, Jeep® has brought back the Gladiator Texas Trail model for the 2024 model year, exclusively for Texas residents. It’s a nod to the love affair between Texans and trucks, and it’s packed with all the ruggedness and capability you’d expect from a Jeep.

Why Texas? Well, it’s not a secret that Texas is truck country, and Jeep knows it. Bill Peffer, Senior Vice President and Head of Jeep® North America, emphasized this, saying, “Texas is the largest Gladiator market in America and the country’s largest truck market.” So, it only makes sense to tailor something special for Texans.

The 2024 Gladiator Texas Trail is based on the Gladiator Sport S trim but comes with a Texan twist. It boasts 17-inch black-painted aluminum wheels wrapped in beefy 32-inch mud-terrain tires, ready to tackle whatever Texas terrain you throw its way. Plus, with the Jeep Command-Trac 4×4 part-time, two-speed transfer case, and a 2.72:1 low-range gear ratio, this truck is built for serious off-roading.

The exterior of the Texas Trail proudly displays its Texan heritage with unique hood and tailgate decals featuring the year 1836, a nod to the Texas Declaration of Independence. But it’s not just about looks; this truck is equipped with practical features like a body-color hardtop, steel rock rails, and keyless entry, making it as functional as it is stylish.

Inside, you’ll find a comfortable cabin with black McKinley-trimmed seats, power heated mirrors, and a 12.3-inch Uconnect 5 touchscreen for all your infotainment needs. Safety is also a priority, with features like adaptive cruise control and forward collision warning to keep you and your passengers safe on Texas roads.

Under the hood, the Gladiator Texas Trail packs a punch with a standard 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 engine, delivering 285 horsepower and 260 lb.-ft. of torque. Whether you’re hauling cargo or hitting the trails, this truck has the power to get the job done.

And speaking of hitting the trails, like every Jeep Gladiator, the Texas Trail is Trail Rated, meaning it’s designed to handle challenging off-road conditions with ease. With traction, ground clearance, maneuverability, articulation, and water-fording capabilities, this truck is ready for whatever Texas throws its way.

So, if you’re a Texan in need of a rugged, capable truck that pays tribute to your state’s heritage, look no further than the Gladiator Texas Trail. It’s Texas tough, through and through.
