Jeep® Brazil To Open Pre-Orders For Limited Edition Compass Model On Monday!
2022 Jeep Compass 80th Anniversary Edition Will Be Limited To 1,000 Units...
The Jeep® brand celebrates 80 years of adventure, passion, and freedom in 2021. An important chapter in the brand’s history is the Jeep Compass, which made its global debut back in 2007. The first-generation served as an entry-level vehicle for the brand, but never caught the attention that Jeep was looking for. Its second-generation model on the other hand, which started production in 2016 as a 2017 model was designed with a global mindset and creating one of the brand’s most known nameplates worldwide.
The second-generation Jeep Compass hit the marketplace first in Brazil. It was in Brazil, where Jeep launched the Jeep Automotive Pole, in Goiana (PE), with its 2014 launch of the compact Renegade. The Compass then went on the becoming the market leader in the segment of medium-sized SUVs, the most technologically produced car, as well as the best-selling 4×4 SUV in Brazil. Since the launch of the second-generation vehicle, it has also retained the highest resale value in the Brazilian marketplace over the last four years.
So to continue that success, the Jeep brand is opening pre-orders for its new limited edition 80th Anniversary Edition of the updated 2022 Jeep Compass on Monday, April 5th. There will only be 1,000 units of the 2021 Jeep Compass 80th Anniversary Edition made for the Brazilian market.
“The Jeep Compass has been a success since its launch. Today, for every 10 average SUVs sold in Brazil, 7 are Compass. We know that in order to remain at the top, we always need to innovate. In fact, the new generation of the model comes to surprise and fascinate mainly technology lovers. This which is already one of Compass’ strengths, now gains even more prominence with the new platform of connected systems Adventure Intelligence and [much] other news that we will save for the launch. The new generation will bring even more performance, sophistication, and design ”, says Everton Kurdejak, director of Commercial Operations at Jeep for Brazil.
While Jeep Brazil, isn’t releasing any real important news about its new model, we do know many of the details surrounding the special edition thanks to its recent launch in the European marketplace (including photos of the vehicle). What they are saying is that the vehicle will feature darkened graphite accents on the exterior, a Piano Black accented interior, black headliner and stitching, as well as unique 80th Anniversary badges on both the exterior and interior of the vehicle. Pricing however won’t be released until April 5th.
For those who are looking at purchasing one of the limited edition units, Jeep Brazil has created a special site that customers can go on and place their order beginning at 4:00 p.m. on Monday, April 5th. On the site, they can post a deposit of R $3,000 (or about $530 USD). It is worth mentioning that the first 48 hours of pre-ordering will only be available for current Jeep customers. After the 48 hour period (after 4:00 p.m. on April 7th), the pre-ordering will open to the general public. A pre-order can also be made directly at 1 of the 200 Jeep dealers throughout Brazil.
After the customer pays their deposit, they will receive a voucher by e-mail with the order confirmation. After the 2022 Jeep Compass introduced and all the details and pricing of all the models are released, the customer will then be able to decide whether to proceed with the purchase and will be instructed to go to one of the Jeep dealerships to complete the purchase of their new 2022 Jeep Compass 80th Anniversary Edition. If the customer decides to cancel their order, they will get their money back.
Those who do purchase the new Compass 80th Anniversary Edition via the pre-ordering eligibility will receive a special welcome kit 30 days after the official launch. The welcome kit will feature an Echo Dot (4th Generation) Smart Speaker with Alexa, some Jeep Compass gear, and a special 80th Anniversary keychain.
The Brazilian marketplace serves as the Jeep brand’s second-biggest market for sales, worldwide.
