Jason Stoicevich Returns to Stellantis to Help Rebuild Dealer Relations
Veteran Sales Exec Rejoins Stellantis to Focus on North American Dealer Strategy

Stellantis is bringing back a familiar face to help strengthen ties with its dealer network in North America. Jason Stoicevich, a longtime sales executive with deep roots in the company, has rejoined Stellantis to oversee dealer strategy and performance across the region, according to The Detroit News.
Stoicevich briefly served as Head of U.S. Sales last year before stepping away for personal reasons. Since then, he spent time as a Vice President with the Sierra Automotive Group in Southern California. Now, he’s back at Stellantis with a clear mission: rebuild and reinforce the company’s relationship with its dealer body—a relationship that took a hit under former CEO Carlos Tavares.
His return comes as part of a broader reshuffling under new CEO Antonio Filosa, who officially stepped into the role in June. Filosa, known for his hands-on approach while previously leading North American operations, has made it a priority to address dealer concerns and revamp Stellantis’ retail strategy in the United States—one of the automaker’s most profitable markets.
Stoicevich now reports to Tim Kuniskis, who is the CEO of the Ram brand. Kuniskis has also been tasked with broader responsibilities overseeing retail and marketing strategies across Stellantis’ American brands.
Stoicevich’s past with Stellantis (and previously Fiat Chrysler Automobiles) includes serving as President of Stellantis Canada and holding multiple U.S. sales leadership roles. His return is being welcomed by dealers, many of whom view him as a straight shooter who understands their business.
Retailers have been calling for changes in leadership that prioritize communication and support for dealerships. Filosa and Kuniskis both have strong reputations among the dealer body, and Stoicevich’s comeback is being seen as another step in the right direction.
Even though Stellantis’ overall U.S. sales dropped again in Q2, there were some bright spots—Jeep and Ram both posted year-over-year gains. The company also recently brought in Michael Ferreira, formerly with AutoNation, to head up fleet sales. He now joins Jeff Kommor, who continues to focus on U.S. retail operations.
With the return of Stoicevich and new leadership under Filosa, Stellantis seems to be putting more experienced voices at the table to fix its dealer relationships and get its sales momentum back on track.
