Islander Will Return On Jeep Wrangler For 2021 Model Year:

"Tiki Bob" Returns Once Again...

From 1988 to 1993, the Jeep® brand released a special edition of its then-popular Jeep Wrangler (YJ) known as the “Islander”. The Wrangler Islander featured bright colors, a unique graphics package, with some of the most popular options at the time. It was a huge success for the Wrangler at the time, however, the Islander disappeared from the lineup until the 2010 model year on the Wrangler (JK).

The 2010 Wrangler Islander (JK) gave a whole new look on the Islander theme, by ditching the sunset graphics from the previous model and adding “Tiki Bob” to the mix. The 2010 version was based on the popular Sport model and added things like black side steps, 17-inch aluminum wheels, special “Islander” decals, and 32-inch all-terrain tires. The Islander-theme continued inside with Dark Gray seats with Surf Blue inserts, blue stitched leather-wrapped steering wheel, with Mopar rubber floor mats completing the beach theme.
