Hennessey Performance Is Selling A 1,035 HP 2018 Dodge Demon

A Rare Opportunity To Own a Modified 2018 Demon With Over 1,000 HP

If you’ve ever dreamed of owning one of the most powerful muscle cars on the planet, this might be your perfect chance. Hennessey Performance Engineering (HPE) is selling a pristine, modified 2018 Dodge Challenger SRT Demon equipped with their HPE1000 package — pushing this already legendary car’s performance to an entirely new level.

The 2018 Dodge Challenger SRT Demon was built for domination on the drag strip. Straight from the factory, it packed a supercharged 6.2-liter HEMI® Demon V8 delivering 840 horsepower and 770 lb-ft of torque when running on high-octane fuel. This beast could hit 0-60 mph in just 2.3 seconds and run the quarter-mile in a blistering 9.65 seconds at over 140 mph.

But Hennessey took it even further. With the HPE1000 upgrade, this Demon’s output climbs to an eye-watering 1,035 brake horsepower and 948 lb-ft of torque. This transformation comes courtesy of upgraded engine internals, an enhanced induction system, and a recalibrated ECU. The result? A car that delivers brutal acceleration while still remaining street-friendly — a true weapon both on the road and the strip.

The car on offer is a collector’s dream. It’s number 174 out of only 3,300 units ever built and has just 175 miles on the odometer, making it practically brand new. Given the rarity and the performance boost, this HPE1000 Demon is expected to command a significant price — with similar models often selling for well over $200,000.

Why is Stellantis not partnering with Hennessey in some way? This guy has a small shop in Sealy Texas that makes world class vehicles. Do you want a Corvette killer? Take a look at what Hennessey makes. He does a lot more than soup up modern performance cars from other manufacturers. Do you remember how Iacocca used to partner with Shelby? He makes his own engines too. I'm pretty sure he could make a new NASCAR engine if he wanted to do so.
