A few weeks ago, we told you about our friend (Allpar.com founder, automotive writer and diehard Mopar lover) David Zatz’s newest book titled “Mopar Minivans – Creating the first 20 years on Chrysler, Dodge, and Plymouth “magic wagons”.
The book has been in the works for several years and is the most in-depth documentation of the history of the Chrysler/Dodge/Plymouth minivan lineup yet. Documenting the original design process from Chrysler Corporation until the mid-2000s, the book gives diehard Mopar lovers an inside look at the history of one of Chrysler’s most important vehicles ever.
Inside, there are several unseen photos of the original minivan team working on the vehicle that would revolutionize family transportation and in-depth discussions from several of the design and engineering team.
“Amazing how you have been able to document this story so thoroughly. “Are you certain the there were not ‘wires’ put on everyone involved at Chrysler during all this?! So many memories rekindled here and so many players… This book is great!” – Former Chrysler Employee, Warren Steele on “Mopar Minivans – Creating the first 20 years on Chrysler, Dodge, and Plymouth “magic wagons”.
While Mopar Insiders is actually giving away a signed copy to one of our readers at the end of the month. All you have to do is go to our forums and post a comment in the thread with the title of the article to enter. The entries will have their names put into a drawing which we will do on March 31st, 2019 at 8:00 pm EST. The winner will get a copy personally signed by David Zatz himself.
For those who can’t wait for the drawing, Mr. Zatz’s book is available in a high-quality paperback from Amazon or a value paperback from Barnes & Noble (save 15% by using the code SAVE15). The Amazon paperback has better quality images. For eBook fans, the book is available on Amazon Kindle.
