Gecko Green Returns For Jeep® Wrangler & Gladiator Models:
High-Impact Color Available For Limited Time...
If you are a diehard Jeep® fan, then it is more than likely you are familiar with the brand’s finity for buzz models and colors. No other model can be more defined by special edition models or colors than the iconic Wrangler nameplate.
For the 2021 model year, the Jeep brand announced to its dealer body that it would re-introduce three popular high-impact colors from the brand’s past for a limited time. The first color to return was “Chief”, the popular blue color was originally made its debut on the 2015 Jeep Chief Concept and ran from 2017 to 2018. Chief rejoined the lineup from November to February.
The second color to return was the popular “Nacho” color. It made its debut on the 2018 Jeep Wrangler Nacho Concept and was put into production in 2018 for a limited run. Nacho returned this year on both Wrangler and Gladiator models from December to earlier this month.
While the third color has been a mystery, one Michigan dealership is shedding light on the new exterior color as it has become the first dealer to take delivery of the third high-impact color. Gecko made its original debut back in 2012 on the Wrangler (JK) and stayed in production until the end of 2013. The popular green color was a hit with Wrangler fans so much so, that there is even a Facebook group dedicated to owners of the color.
The Gecko green color looks especially good with the black accents on this 2021 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Sahara Altitude model. For those who aren’t familiar with the Sahara Altitude, the Altitude Appearance Package adds 18-inch Gloss Black aluminum wheels, Black leather-trimmed seats with Diesel Gray accent stitching, Gloss Black exterior accents, Gloss Black interior accents, Liquid-Titanium interior trim, and a Body-Color Freedom Top® Hardtop with Hardtop Headliner.
This particular model is currently in inventory at LaFontaine Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep®, Ram in Walled Lake, Michigan.
The Gecko green color will also be making its way to the Gladiator lineup as well. Production for both the Wrangler and Gladiator of the high-impact color will only be available for a limited time. So those who are looking to purchase one of the bright green Jeeps may want to contact your local Jeep dealer as soon as possible to place an order or check for availability.
