Filosa Reshapes Stellantis Leadership on Day One as CEO
Unexpected Dual Role Keeps Him in Charge of North America and American Brands

Antonio Filosa didn’t waste a minute stepping into his new role as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Stellantis. On his first official day as CEO, he announced a new Stellantis Leadership Team (SLT)—and surprisingly retained his old job as well.
That’s right, Filosa will continue as Chief Operating Officer (COO) of North America and remain in charge of the company’s American brands, including Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep®, and Ram. It’s not something anyone expected, but it demonstrates Stellantis’ seriousness about doubling down on the U.S. market.

“It is my great privilege to take the lead of Stellantis, a global company with deep regional roots,” Filosa said. “We have unique strengths in our great people, our iconic brands, and our millions of customers… whose loyalty inspires us to new achievements.”
The new team reflects Stellantis’ strategy of placing decision-making power closer to where the action is, enabling regional leaders to make key calls that better connect with local buyers and brand fans.
Here’s the new leadership breakdown:
-
Antonio Filosa – CEO, while also remaining COO of North America and head of American brands
-
Doug Ostermann – CFO, now also overseeing mergers, acquisitions, and joint ventures
-
Jean-Philippe Imparato – Continues his COO of Europe role and adds Maserati to his responsibilities
-
Emanuele Cappellano – Is now the COO of South America and Stellantis’ commercial vehicles business, Stellantis Pro One
-
Philippe de Rovira – Takes on “Rest of World” markets and stays in charge of Stellantis Financial Services
-
Davide Mele – Joins as Head of Product Planning
-
Ned Curic – Continues leading Product Development & Technology
-
Sébastien Jacquet – Newly appointed Head of Quality
-
Monica Genovese – Takes the reins of Purchasing
-
Scott Thiele – Steps into a new role as Head of Supply Chain
-
Arnaud Deboeuf – Continues as Head of Manufacturing
-
Xavier Chéreau – Remains in charge of HR and Sustainability
-
Clara Ingen-Housz – Leads Corporate Affairs & Communications
In addition to the official leadership team, four other high-level execs will report directly to Filosa:

-
Ralph Gilles – Head of Design
-
Olivier Francois – Head of Marketing
-
Alison Jones – Now leading Parts & Services and Circular Economy
-
Giorgio Fossati – General Counsel
Former CFO Richard Palmer will stick around as a strategic advisor, helping guide the transition.

Filosa wrapped things up by thanking outgoing leaders Maxime Picat and Béatrice Foucher for their years of service, wishing them success in whatever comes next.
This is a big first step for Filosa and by keeping direct control of the American side of the business, it’s clear he’s not just leading Stellantis from the top. He’s staying in the trenches, especially where the stakes are highest.
