FIAT Gives Japan Its Own Limited Edition Giallissima Model!
"Happy Yellow" Makes Us Ready For Spring...

The FIAT brand is looking to take Japan by storm. Just before the Italian marque releases its award-winning third-generation all-electric 500e onto the Japanese marketplace, it is unveiling a limited edition model of its beloved second-generation 500.

The Fiat 500 Giallissima, features a “Happy Yellow” exterior paint color exclusive to the Giallissima, black painted exterior mirrors, and a set of chrome “Cult” wheels. The combination creates a very strong visual contrast for FIAT’s city car. Inside, the Giallissima features a “Happy Yellow” instrument panel (I/P) to make the car’s exterior. There is blue upholstery, combined with the yellow, and white highlights, which express the bright colors found in the Italian countryside.

Based on the popular Cult trim level, the Giallissima is equipped with a naturally-aspirated 1.2-liter FIRE inline-four-cylinder engine delivering 69 horsepower and 102 Nm (75 ft.-lb.) of torque. The Giallissima special edition includes a leather-wrapped steering wheel, push-button start, 7-inch Uconnect touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

According to FCA Japan, the 500 Giallissima will be made up of just 200 units. The price for the vehicle is 2.33 million yen (or about $20,000 USD). FCA Japan tells us, that the Giallissima will go officially on sale on March 5th. Just in time for spring.
