Fiat Fastback Surpasses 100,000 Sales Milestone in Brazil

Fiat's First SUV Coupé Continues Its Success Story with New Hybrid Version

Fiat Brazil has reached an impressive milestone with its Fastback SUV Coupé, surpassing 100,000 units sold in the country. Launched in September 2022, the Fastback quickly captured the attention of Brazilian consumers with its unique design, practicality, and performance. The vehicle’s success underscores Fiat’s growing influence in the competitive SUV market in Brazil.

Manufactured at Stellantis’ Automotive Center in Betim, Minas Gerais, the Fastback stands out for its sleek Italian design, blending sophistication with the ruggedness of an SUV. It’s known for offering the largest trunk in its category, boasting 600 liters of cargo space, making it one of the most practical vehicles in its class. Safety is also a strong point, with advanced driving assistance systems (ADAS) that include automatic emergency braking, lane-keeping assist, and automatic headlight control.

In 2023, Fiat expanded the Fastback lineup by introducing the Fastback Abarth, a sportier version powered by the Turbo 270 engine. This high-performance model accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h (0-62 mph) in just 7.6 seconds and reaches a top speed of 220 km/h (137 mph). It also comes well-equipped with a dual exhaust system, a 10.1-inch multimedia center with connected services, paddle shifters, and a wireless charging pad.

Fiat has also taken steps toward sustainability with the introduction of a hybrid Fastback version featuring the T200 Hybrid engine. This hybrid model offers improved fuel efficiency, reducing gasoline consumption by 11.5% and ethanol consumption by 9.8% in urban driving.

The Fastback has been widely recognized both by the public and automotive experts, earning over 22 awards since its launch. Among its accolades are the “Lowest Cost of Use” and “Os Eleitos” awards from Quatro Rodas magazine, reflecting its popularity and reliability.

As Fiat celebrates this sales milestone, Frederico Battaglia, Fiat South America’s vice president, highlighted the Fastback’s impact: “Fastback combines bold design with SUV versatility. Reaching 100,000 units sold reinforces its position as one of the most beloved models in the market, and with the new hybrid versions, it will become even more desirable for our customers.”

With its blend of style, performance, practicality, and innovation, the Fiat Fastback continues to strengthen Fiat’s presence in Brazil’s growing SUV segment.
