Jeep® Introduces Some New Option Changes To Popular Compass Trim Levels:

SUV Brand Has Listened To Its Customers...

Spring is here, and the Jeep® brand is altering a few options on its popular Compass compact SUV. Seems like the SUV brand is listening to customers, who weren’t too happy wanting certain options and are required to purchase additional equipment packages to get the option they wanted.

2019 Jeep Compass High Altitude. (400 Chrysler).

In January, the brand launched the Compass High Altitude model to its lineup. Based on the Compass Limited, the High Altitude package adds the darkened tone with Gloss Black and other dark accents to the Compass luxury model. But until now, dealers and customers were forced to click the box for the Safety & Security Group (AJB) in order to get the High Altitude trim level. Jeep has announced starting in May, that the Safety & Security Group is no longer needed to order the High Altitude package. By doing this, it allows the brand to lower the starting M.S.R.P. of $745 (all prices are in USD) to a starting price of $33,185.

2019 Jeep Compass Trailhawk. (White Rock Dodge).

Another change the brand made in the ordering process is on Compass Latitude, Trailhawk, and Limited trim levels. One of the most popular packages on those models is the Premium Lighting Group (AD6) which cost $695. However, until now if you purchased the Premium Lighting Group which includes Bi-Xenon HID headlamps with LED Signature and LED taillamps, the checkbox for the Safety & Security had to be selected. Well starting this month the brand has eliminated that, allowing the purchaser to pay only $695, rather than $1,440 for both packages.

The small changes add more choice and lower pricing to the most popular trim levels on the Jeep Compass. It also makes the Compass models one of the most customizable Jeeps vehicles on the market.
