The Most Powerful Grand Cherokee Model, Is A PHEV...

The 2025 Jeep® Grand Cherokee 4xe (WL74) brings the latest eco-friendly engineering to the classic power and capability expected from the Jeep brand. The plug-in hybrid (PHEV) SUV is equipped with a powerful 4xe powertrain, a rugged yet refined exterior, and a tech-packed, luxurious interior that caters to those who seek adventure without sacrificing comfort or efficiency. For 2025, Jeep has carefully refined its Grand Cherokee lineup to include a range of trims that address various needs, from trail dominance to high-end luxury.

At the heart of the 2025 Grand Cherokee 4xe is a turbocharged 2.0-liter inline-four-cylinder PHEV engine paired with two electric motors. This engine produces a combined 375 horsepower and a hearty 470 lb.-ft. of torque, making it the most powerful offering in the 2025 Grand Cherokee lineup.

This setup allows the Grand Cherokee 4xe to achieve a remarkable 56 MPGe and offers up to 25 miles of all-electric range, making it ideal for daily commutes and off-road treks. The 4xe powertrain features three drive modes—Hybrid, Electric, and eSave—allowing drivers to prioritize fuel efficiency, electric-only driving, or engine power as needed.

Exterior Design: Bold and Confident –

The Trailhawk trim takes it a step further with Blue-accented tow hooks and a Matte Black hood decal for an adventurous feel.

For the 2025 model year, Jeep has introduced a rich color palette, with options such as:

  • Diamond Black Crystal (PXJ)
  • Baltic Gray Metallic (PAS)
  • Silver Zynith (PSE)
