EVENTS: Chrysler Employee Motorsport Association (CEMA) Show Tomorrow:
Popular Car Event Resumes After A Year Hiatus...
The 31st Annual Chrysler Employee Motorsport Association (CEMA) car show will take place tomorrow, Saturday, June 11th at the Chrysler Technical Center (CTC) in Auburn Hills, Michigan. It marks the return of the popular car event, after a year off due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The CEMA organization raises money from the event and donates it to a local non-profit group to benefit the community. For the past couple of years, the money raised has gone to the amazing Leader Dogs For The Blind organization. The program is for the training of dogs to assist the blind in their everyday lives and giving those dogs to owners in need. Money raised at the event is not from spectator fees, but the entry fee of the cars participating.
The event is free for the public to attend and starts at 9:00 a.m and lasts till 2:00 p.m. It will go on rain or shine, but the weather conditions look to be in the mid-70s with showers possibly later in the afternoon.
Registration and check-in opens at 8:00 a.m. in Lot #26. Lot #26 will also be used for spectator and trailer parking. The vehicles on display will be featured in Lot #28, which is adjacent to the former Walter P. Chrysler Museum building (now the Alfa Romeo/Maserati North American Headquarters).
The MoparInsiders.com team will be in attendance as well, we hope to see you there.
