Stellantis U.S. Employees Show Off Their Passion With 2022 “Wild Wheels At Work”!

Company Gear Heads Show Off Their Own Personal Rides...

Stellantis (FCA US, LLC) is known for being a car company made up of car people. It is shown in the company’s development of performance vehicles like the Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat Redeye, Dodge Durango SRT Hellcat, and Ram 1500 TRX performance off-roader. Gearheads work throughout the company, in the design studio, in engineering, in finance, and even in the marketing department.

Yesterday, several of those employees brought their vehicles to the ground of the former Walter P. Chrysler Museum (now the headquarters for Alfa Romeo and Maserati North America) on the ground of the FCA US Headquarters in Auburn Hills, Michigan for the company’s annual “Wild Wheels at Work” event.

The annual event, returned last year to a public event after being promoted digitally during 2020 due to the coronavirus pandemic. The event lets employees at the Auburn Hills Headquarters bring some of their passion-driven projects to work, to share with other petrolheads. Usually bringing out some very interesting vehicles and not all are Mopar-related vehicles or even cars for that fact.

This year’s event, which we were able to attend, was quite fun with a great turnout. Besides some awesome employee-owned vehicles being on display, FCA US brought out several Mopar-themed concepts as well. The recent Easter Jeep® Safari concepts, such as the Jeep ’41 Concept, Jeep Bob Concept, and Jeep D-Coder Concept from Jeep Performance Parts (JPP) were all there. The 1967 Plymouth Belvidere II that the Mopar team put a Hellcat motor in, also returned to the show. There was also the Mopar Ram 1500 TRX RexRunner Concept and the 1937 Dodge pickup from the 2017 SEMA Show as part of a partnership with Pennzoil with a Mopar 345 Crate HEMI® Engine Kit.
